Strategic Regional Director, Field Medical Affairs, overseeing a team of 6 MSLs in the East region, with a focus on advancing ophthalmology/eyecare scientific engagement and medical strategy.
Responsibilities:- lead, mentor, and develop the MSL team;
- develop and execute regional medical plans;
- serve as disease state and product expert;
- manage KOL and ECP relationships;
- oversee scientific exchange activities;
- ensure compliance with GxP, HIPAA, and other regulations;
- and collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, clinical, regulatory, and medical operations teams.
- advanced degree (OD, PhD, PharmD, MD), 10+ years in Medical Affairs or scientific roles, including 5+ years in leadership;
- in-depth ophthalmology/eye care knowledge;
- proven KOL relationship skills;
- experience managing field medical teams within biopharma;
- and strong leadership capabilities aligned with organizational values.
