Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join a U.S.
-based chiropractic practice. The primary focus of this role is medical billing and revenue cycle management
, with some light administrative support as needed.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with medical billing in a chiropractic practice
, is highly comfortable working with insurance claims and accounts receivable, and has direct experience using Chiro Touch EMR
.
This position requires someone who can work independently, stay organized, follow up consistently, and communicate effectively with a U.S.
-based healthcare team.
- Perform insurance verifications and confirm patient benefits and coverage.
- Handle insurance pre-authorizations as required.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on medical claims.
- Monitor claims status and resolve billing issues or rejected/denied claims.
- Manage accounts receivable (A/R) and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Review accounts for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Follow up with insurance companies regarding unpaid or pending claims.
- Maintain accurate billing documentation and patient account information.
- Use Chiro Touch to manage billing-related information and workflows.
- Provide light administrative support related to billing and patient accounts when needed.
- Communicate professionally with the U.S.
-based healthcare team. - Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
The ideal candidate is an experienced medical billing professional
, not simply a general virtual assistant. They should be able to independently manage day-to-day billing responsibilities, understand the insurance and claims process, and work confidently inside Chiro Touch
.
Chiro Touch experience is mandatory for this position.
Required Qualifications- 2+ years of hands-on medical billing experience.
- Previous experience working with a chiropractic practice
. - Hands-on experience with Chiro Touch EMR — NON-NEGOTIABLE.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing and claims processes.
- Experience with insurance verification and pre-authorizations
. - Experience managing accounts receivable (A/R).
- Strong understanding of insurance claims follow-up and resolution.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Comfortable working with a U.S.
-based healthcare team. - Reliable internet connection and professional work-from-home setup.
- Ability to work the required Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM schedule

- Experience working specifically with U.S. chiropractic practices.
- Experience handling denied, rejected, or unpaid claims.
- Experience with insurance follow-up and payment posting.
- Familiarity with chiropractic billing workflows and terminology.
- Experience using Intermedia phone systems

Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with open to negotiate, depending on skill set and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9-6 Pacific Standard Time.
