Mid-Atlantic Concussion (MAC) Alliance is a growing practice specialized in concussion and traumatic brain injury care. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Delaware.
This is an excellent opportunity for a medical professional interested in developing expertise in concussion evaluation, treatment, and post-concussion care.
Position Details- Position: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Employment: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (two days a week remote)
- Location: Hockessin, Delaware
- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
- Training: Learn UPMC concussion protocols and become a credentialed ImPACT Consultant
- Evaluate and treat patients with concussions and post-concussion symptoms
- Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical and neurological examinations
- Develop individualized patient treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate

- Educate patients and families about concussion recovery and treatment
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, healthcare providers, and attorneys when appropriate
- Follow established clinic protocols and standards of care
- Learning how to use and apply the latest neuroscience technologies for concussions/TBIs including ImPACT and Creyos Neuro-Cognitive testing, SWAY Balance Testing, Right-Eye infrared eye tracking, Brain Scope-EEG, SPECT scans, Hyper-Baric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and Rail Spin Vestibular Therapy
- Current Delaware NP or PA license
- National NP or PA certification
- DEA registration or eligibility to obtain DEA registration
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical staff
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills with an advanced EMR system.
- Experience in neurology, concussion care, emergency medicine, family medicine, sports medicine, or a related specialty is preferred but not required
- Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule
