Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive behavioral health assessments for all new patients to establish their individual needs and treatment goals.
  • Managing ongoing patient care by addressing an array of psychiatric, psychosocial, and behavioral health needs throughout their treatment journey.
  • Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies tailored to the specific challenges faced by patients.
  • Coordinating with external behavioral health treatment facilities when additional services or resources are necessary to provide comprehensive care.
  • Proactively identifying and developing strategies aimed at improving overall patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of care delivered.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Eleanor Health, you will primarily work with patients experiencing challenges associated with substance use disorders. This may include addressing co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. Your expertise will be critical in forming trusting therapeutic relationships that encourage positive change, ultimately helping individuals regain control of their lives and health.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a closely related field.
  • An active, fully licensed LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC in the state of Washington.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating your capacity to work effectively within multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Thorough knowledge of evidence-based treatments applicable to behavioral health conditions, particularly substance use disorders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with a strong emphasis on active listening, allowing you to build rapport and trust with patients.
Preferred Experience
