This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to focus on what matters most—your clients. As part of our community health clinic, you will engage in collaborative care practices with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers. You will utilize telehealth technologies to conduct therapy sessions and maintain consistent communication with clients, making it essential to be well-versed in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at improving their overall well-being.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches that cater to diverse populations and address issues such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.
- Implement therapeutic techniques and coping strategies that empower clients to manage their conditions effectively, encouraging active participation in their own care.
- Maintain ongoing documentation of client progress in compliance with organizational protocols and regulatory requirements, ensuring confidentiality and ethical practice.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, referring clients to additional resources as needed.
- Utilize crisis intervention strategies to support clients in emergency situations while remaining calm and composed.
Your work will primarily focus on a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance use issues. Each session provides an opportunity to make a profound impact on their journey toward recovery, emphasizing cultural competence and inclusivity in your therapeutic approach.
Qualifications- A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
- A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia is essential.
- At least four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a robust skill set in evidence-based treatment modalities.
- A deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidenced by knowledge of effective treatment approaches and a commitment to cultural sensitivity.
- Proficient in electronic health record systems and related technology, enabling effective session management and client documentation.
- Experience working in a community health setting and familiarity with the challenges faced by diverse populations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.
- Expertise in delivering both individual and group therapy, especially in culturally responsive manners.
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
