Healthcare Management, Healthcare Consultant
Health plans are accountable for children's health outcomes but see almost none of the data that drives them. About 1% of a child's health is visible to the healthcare system in a year. The other 99% happens at home, in the eczema flare, the missed milestone, the change in sleep, or the food reaction. None of it is structured, and none of it reaches the clinicians, providers, and payers responsible for that child's care.
Kiri is a family health intelligence platform that extends clinical care into the home. Parents capture their child's health on the Kiri mobile app, and Kiri turns it into a structured, clinically relevant longitudinal record that pediatricians can use to monitor and deliver better care. Kiri's data model is built to a clinical standard by twelve practicing clinicians across nine pediatric specialties, and it is not a consumer tracking schema.
Every alternative is either a consumer tracker with no clinical structure or a clinical system that only sees the visit. Kiri is HIPAA-aligned, with guidance grounded in AAP, CDC, WHO, and AASM standards. User acquisition runs through physician referral and brand partnerships, not paid media.
Kiri was founded by Larry Tsai, who has spent more than 25 years building consumer technology products, including six years helping build Fitbit's first five wearables through its IPO, and who later co-founded and raised a deep technology venture fund that invested in sixteen companies. Co-Founder Jordan Riggs built the Motorola Baby Monitor business from zero to a $130 million global market leader.
Together they bring product and technical depth, operating and capital experience, and the category relationships behind Kiri's distribution partnerships.
- Launched on the Apple App Store in January 2026
- Physician referral channel live, with pediatricians at Sutter Health referring families to Kiri
- App distribution partnership with Halo Sleep and recurring licensing revenue from Yogasleep, with national retail distribution expanding in 2027
- 12 clinical advisors across nine pediatric specialties defining the platform's data model
- $850,000 raised to date toward a $1.5 million round, with capital directed to clinical pilots, institutional validation, and B2B2C distribution
Kiri's next milestone is two to three paid B2B2C pilot contracts that demonstrate clinical integration. We are looking for payer, value-based care, and reimbursement leaders who can:
- Advise on how a health plan decides to pilot or cover a new tool, and what evidence it needs to see
- Guide strategy on pediatric population health, quality measures, and HEDIS alignment
- Advise on value-based contracting and how home-based pediatric data supports risk-bearing providers
- Guide reimbursement strategy, including what is billable, which codes apply, and how practices get paid
- Open doors to health plans, Medicaid managed care and CHIP plans, and practice groups operating under delegated risk
- Make introductions across payer, provider network, and value-based care networks
- A health plan Chief Medical Officer or Medical Director who has launched or scaled new care programs
- A VP of Population Health, Value-Based Care, or Value-Based Contracting at a health plan or risk-bearing provider organization
- A Director of Quality or HEDIS who has led quality improvement programs across a plan or network
- An executive at a Medicaid managed care or CHIP plan responsible for pediatric, maternal, or family health programs
- A VP of Revenue Cycle, Director of Coding and Reimbursement, or reimbursement strategy leader who has built payment pathways for new care models
- A Chief Strategy Officer, VP of Provider Network, or MSO or practice-group COO operating under delegated risk
