Seneca Federal Healthis seeking a Clinical Psychologist to support our federal client. This position is 100% remote supporting our Euro shift
- Central Europe Time (CET) (UTC+2);
Monday
- Friday (1230am-930am Monday
- Friday CST).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Perform brief, evidenced-based virtual individual and/or group counseling for low to moderate acuity patients with acute mental health conditions in accordance with military health system model of behavioral health care.
- Perform duties as a Practitioner and Consultant in Psychology with emphasis on problems of all levels of complexity and must come to the position with knowledge and experience (ideally working with the military population) providing treatment services in routine outpatient services using virtual platforms to low and/or moderate acuity patients. Treatments require very advanced knowledge and/or skill and selection from a variety of alternatives.
Make recommendations on major diagnostics and treatment plans. Provide continuing follow-up care for chronic outpatients with acute disorders and complications of these disorders, such as psychosis, organic brain syndrome, substance abuse/addictions, etc. and provide psychiatric care for triage patients presenting with acute illnesses of minor and major proportions. Exercise initiative and sound judgment in - Attend staff meetings to provide case discussion, continuing education, and continuous quality improvement and safety. Such direction and interaction will adhere to Government and professional clinical standards and accepted clinical protocols. Perform other duties as assigned.
- Recommend hospitalization as applicable or determines a service member's fitness for duty; assesses and completes Active-Duty Profiles, Medical Evaluation Board (MEB), Military occupation/Mental Status Evaluations (MSE), command consultations, and other administrative processes from Air Force, Army, and Navy as required and prepare reports of such evaluations according to applicable regulations.
