This role involves providing psychological assessments, consultations, and interventions through virtual platforms to support student mental health and academic success within a school setting.
Key responsibilities include:- Conducting remote psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
- Delivering telehealth counseling and behavioral interventions.
- Collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records of all evaluations and sessions.
- Providing crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings via teleconference.
- Valid license or certification to practice as a School Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience with telehealth service delivery in educational settings.
- Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques relevant to school-aged children.
- Strong communication skills for effective virtual interaction with students, parents, and educators.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently within a remote environment.
- Familiarity with federal and state regulations related to special education and telehealth.
