This is a contingent/PRN position on the Cardiovascular Acute Care team. This is a temporary position anticipated through September 3, 2027.
The employee in this position will be scheduled on an as-needed basis.
- Evaluate and treat patients with diseases, injuries, disorders, and disabilities using physical modalities and exercises.
- Interpret prescriptions and develop treatment plans.
- Instruct patients in home exercise programs.
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and completion of a clinical internship are necessary.
- A current Michigan Physical Therapy license is necessary.
- This Classification requires registration, certification, or licensure with the appropriate agency as identified on the Primary Source Verification Matrix.
- Master's or DPT degree in physical therapy.
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes .
Work ScheduleThe schedule may include both weekends and weekdays.
