Company Description

Time 2 Grow ABA provides individualized, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for young children with autism and developmental delays across Alameda and Contra Costa counties in California. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Clinical Directors conduct thorough assessments using validated developmental tools and Functional Behavior Assessments to understand each child’s unique needs. Treatment programs build on each child’s strengths and use a range of research-driven methodologies, including Pivotal Response Treatment, Discrete Trial Training, Verbal Behavior, Positive Behavior Support, and the Early Start Denver Model.

The organization strongly emphasizes collaboration with families, offering structured parent training so caregivers can actively participate in goal-setting and the child’s learning and behavior support. Role Description

The Behavioral Health Technician is a full-time, hybrid role based in Pinole, CA, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role focuses on delivering one-on-one ABA-based interventions to young children in home, clinic, and community settings, following treatment plans developed by BCBA Clinical Directors. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing behavior intervention programs, collecting accurate data on targeted skills and behaviors, and reporting progress to supervising clinicians.

The technician will coach caregivers on using strategies in daily routines, help prepare session materials, and maintain a safe, supportive environment for each child. Collaboration with the clinical team, participation in ongoing training, and adherence to ethical and professional standards are essential components of this role.

  • Strong Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and clinical team members, including clear documentation and progress reporting.
  • Experience or coursework in Behavioral Intervention and Psychology, particularly related to autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields preferred.
  • Comfort working in homes and community settings, with reliable transportation to travel within Pinole and surrounding areas.
  • Ability to follow clinical directions, manage challenging behaviors safely, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and supervision; prior experience as a behavioral technician or in ABA services is a plus.
  • Capacity to lift, bend, and engage in play-based activities with young children as part of therapeutic sessions.
