Role Overview :As a Physical Therapy Assistant (Home Health PTA), you will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to implement exercises, monitor patient progress, and encourage seniors to reach their functional goals. Your supportive guidance fosters confidence and motivation.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with exercise programs, mobility training, and therapeutic activities.
- Observe and report patient responses to the Physical Therapist.
- Document treatments, changes, and improvements in patient function.
- Educate families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques.
- Valid PTA license or certification in California.
- Experience working with geriatric patients or in home health settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, motivational, and observation skills.

What to Expect on the JobYou’ll work under the supervision of a licensed therapist, delivering treatment plans in seniors’ homes, monitoring progress, and providing feedback on patient response. Expect to see 5-7 patients per day across Greater LA.

Education:
DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) + CA PT license
Experience:
1+ years PT clinical experience; geriatric population preferred
