Optum is seeking a Certified Sr. (IP) Acute Edits Medical Coder to work remotely within the U.S. and code inpatient and outpatient services with ICD-10-CM/PCS and DRG focus. You will review charts, ensure policy compliance, and provide feedback to providers under senior guidance.
Ideal candidates hold AHIMA/AAPC credentials and have 3+ years inpatient coding experience in a hospital/trauma setting, with strong MS Excel and EMR skills. Normal hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, with occasional overtime.
