Job overviewDo you want to reach your 10,000 steps a day? If so, Medical Records is the department for you. Are you enthusiastic, efficient, and passionate about making a difference in people's lives? We want YOU to be a part of our dedicated Patient Administration Team. As a valued member of our Clinic Preparation and Case Note Store departments, you'll embark on a fulfilling journey that promises growth and satisfaction.
Would you like to work in admin and clerical but not be sat at your desk all day?
What you'll do:
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to ensure a seamless patient experience by guaranteeing that all case notes are readily available for clinic appointments. Your sharp attention to detail will be put to the test as you ensure each set of notes contains all the necessary paperwork and essential correspondence. By doing so, you'll be a driving force behind the SFHT Patient Pathway, promoting efficiency and excellence in healthcare services.
This position involves regular lifting and moving of patient case notes, often in boxes weighing up to 25kg.

Working for our organisationWe are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated. At the same time, we expect our staff to be caring, kind and courteous to each other and to look out for each other.
We believe that we are truly a clinically-led organisation.
We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National NHS Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as ‘outstanding’ for care and our King’s Mill Hospital as the only ‘outstanding’ NHS-run hospital in the East Midlands.
