Position: Full Time Health Records Technician

As a Health Records Technician/Coder, you will play a critical role in the Health Data Quality Department. Your responsibilities include coding and abstracting various health records, ensuring compliance with legal and hospital standards. You'll also collaborate with clinical staff to maintain high-quality data accuracy while adhering to workplace policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Code inpatient, outpatient, and day surgery records

• Collaborate with clinical staff for real-time coding

• Ensure compliance with health documentation requirements

• Conduct internal and peer coding audits

• Maintain effective communication within the healthcare team

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved HIM Program

• Active CHIMA member

• Proficient in ICD
10 coding and Med
2020 systems

• Ability to meet expected productivity standards

• Strong keyboarding and medical terminology skills
