The Clinical Informaticist promotes the understanding, integration, and practical application of healthcare information technology to support clinical workflows, operational efficiency, and organizational strategic goals. This role is responsible for driving the optimal, effective use of the electronic health record (EHR) and related clinical technologies to improve patient care, documentation accuracy, and quality outcomes across clinical care settings.

The Clinical Informaticist will collaborate with interprofessional care teams, operational leaders, revenue cycle staff, and technical teams to analyze and translate clinical workflow and documentation requirements into efficient EHR solutions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent clinical background and hands-on experience supporting EHR implementation, optimization, and standardization in ambulatory and/or acute care environments.

This is a remote/hybrid role based out of a home office. Travel to clinical sites will be required for orientation, training, workflow observation, and go-live support. Travel to corporate office in Stillwater, MN on occasional for meetings, trainings, and onboarding.

Candidates residing in our Minnesota market are strongly preferred, though qualified candidates located in our other Bluestone markets Wisconsin and Florida will also be considered.

This position involves approximately 40% time in the field collaborating directly with our clinicians to observe workflows, provide go-live support, and deliver hands-on EHR training.

• Year 1/Onboarding:
  Travel expectations will be higher during your first year (1-2 days per week) to support intensive initial training, clinical shadowing, workflow observations, and onboarding visits at our corporate office in Stillwater, MN.
• Long-Term Trajectory:
  As you gain experience and familiarity with our clinical systems, field travel will stabilize while remaining a core component for ongoing optimization, site visits, and team alignment.

$100,000 - $110,000. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
