** Upington, Northern Cape, ZA**. This pivotal role involves being the primary scientific point of contact for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the therapeutic area of cardiovascular diseases. You will foster scientific exchange, gather insights on treatment landscapes, and support the medical and scientific community through education and research collaboration. This hybrid role requires significant travel within the territory, balanced with remote work for administrative and planning tasks.

• Engage with KOLs in cardiovascular disease to discuss scientific data, clinical trial information, and unmet medical needs.
• Present complex scientific and medical information in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
• Gather and report insights from KOLs regarding clinical practice, treatment trends, and research opportunities.
• Support the planning and execution of medical education programs and advisory boards.
• Identify potential investigators and facilitate their participation in company-sponsored clinical trials.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with internal medical affairs, clinical development, and commercial teams.
• Stay current with the latest scientific advancements, clinical data, and competitor activities in cardiovascular disease.
• Contribute to the development of therapeutic area strategies and scientific exchange plans.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) in a relevant life science or medical discipline.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or a related role within the

• Demonstrated scientific expertise and knowledge in

• Proven ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 70%).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and medical affairs software.
