We are seeking Occupational Therapist Clinical Lead to join our team.

As an Occupational Therapist at VHA, you will be assessing and providing consultation, recommendations and interventions to adults group of clients in their homes using evidence-based best practice. You will ensure coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with the client care team regarding plans and schedules for interventions, problem solve in collaboration with the client and care team to create opportunities for more independence and promote VHA's core beliefs and values.

As an Occupational Therapist at VHA, you will be assessing and providing consultation, recommendations and interventions to adults group of clients in their homes using evidence-based best practice. You will ensure coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with the client care team regarding plans and schedules for interventions, problem solve in collaboration with the client and care team to create opportunities for more independence and promote VHA's core beliefs and values.

Among other roles, you will provide advice, mentoring, consultation, and expertise related to Occupational Therapy profession. You will provide joint visits with other Occupational Therapists and Service Providers to give input for performance reviews. Support Occupational Therapists and Service Providers who face clinically challenging situations. You will provide clinical orientation for new Occupational Therapists or those changing clinical areas, mentor groups for new graduates or those new to the community setting and well as facilitate team peer support meetings.

You will identify, promote, and participate in best practice initiatives reflective of the requirements of the evolving health care system.
