Cardiac Sonographer

Performs echocardiograms, stress echoes, and TEE’s ordered by physicians.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Completion of an education program through an accredited facility; CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

satisfactory completion of formal ultrasound training in an AMA approved school and/or formal on‑the‑job ultrasound training in addition to graduating from an AMA approved medical program. Recommend experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular and interventional ultrasound. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
