Essentia Health is hiring a hospital outpatient coder to review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10-CM diagnoses, CPT/HCPCS procedures, and modifiers for proper reimbursement. You will work with clinicians to ensure complete documentation and accurate charges for outpatient services.
The role requires a coding program completion and passing the Essentia Health assessment;
Epic, 3M Encoder, and CAC experience are preferred. Remote options are available with rotating shifts.
