Holistic Happiness Counseling Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position plays a crucial role in providing therapeutic services to children facing developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing therapists to engage with clients in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. The work setting is rooted in a community health clinic ethos, ensuring a dynamic framework for delivering high-quality care.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions within clients' homes and lead group therapy sessions at our outpatient center, tailoring approaches to meet each family's specific needs.
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to provide anger management, coping skills, and social skills training, focusing on reducing high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) or physical aggression.
• Guide and enhance decision-making skills for both youth and caregivers to effectively tackle in-home behavioral challenges.
• Work closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and interdisciplinary professionals, ensuring collaborative treatment plans are established and executed.
• Accurately complete and submit all required documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, within specified deadlines.
• Participate in monthly team meetings to provide insights and recommendations based on client progress and care strategies.

The primary focus of this position is serving children aged 3-20 who are diagnosed with developmental disabilities or intellectual challenges. You will work with families in diverse contexts, helping them navigate complex emotional and behavioral issues while promoting their overall well‑being. Your contributions will directly enhance client outcomes by providing tailored support that respects and acknowledges cultural and linguistic diversity, particularly among Spanish and Portuguese-speaking clients.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential.
• A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 pm), with weekend flexibility preferred.
• A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle for travel to client homes.
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.

• Hands-on experience providing positive behavior support to children.
• Familiarity with working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
