Radiology Operations Coordinator

City/State Newport News, VA Work Shift Weekend Days Overview:
Sentara Port Warwick, located in Newport News, VA, is seeking a Radiology Operations Coordinator to join our team.

This is a full-time, weekend day shift position to support the MRI technologist with IV starts, provide exceptional patient and customer service, verify scheduled appointments, and perform various administrative duties as assigned.

Hours Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 8am - 8:30pm

Overview Performs administrative and clinical support in an accurate manner, which assures timely delivery of patient services in a multidisciplinary environment.

High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• IV certification (Preferred, but not required as training will be provided)

• Previous patient care experience (Preferred)
• Previous healthcare experience (Preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.96 - $27.75 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
