Technical Assistant, Healthcare

StationMD is a telehealth company dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). All StationMD clinicians are board-certified and specially trained to treat individuals with I/DD. Clinicians are available 24/7 via telemedicine for urgent and non-urgent medical matters. StationMD also offers scheduled psychiatric telemedicine to individuals with I/DD. In providing this suite of services, StationMD enables individuals with I/DD faster access to high-quality care and substantially reduces unnecessary medical costs.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an exceptional individual who is interested in an excellent career opportunity. The Technical Assistant acts as a liaison between our clients and providers for telemedicine visits. This position offers a flexible shift-based schedule based on the Technical Assistant’s availability;

however, must be available to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Sharingmedicalinformationforencounterswiththeproviders
• Troubleshootingtechnicalissuesassociatedwiththetelemedicineplatform
• Troubleshootingoperationalissuesassociatedwithenteringclientsintodatabase
• Faxingrecordstoclients
• Assistingclientswithanyissuesthatmightarisethroughoutthe visit
• Copying/pastingnotesintoclientelectronichealthrecords
• Effectivelycommunicatingwithclients

• Stronginterpersonalskillsalongwithgooddecision-making capabilities
• Excellentcommunicationskills(bothwrittenandspeech)
• Proficientintheuseof Excel,experiencewithwebapplications(Zoom) preferred
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues (preferred)
• Excellent computer skills,especially typing
• Attentiontodetailandabilitytomultitaskinhigh-pressure situations
• Must have a strong and secure internet connection
• Experience in a healthcare environment or working with individuals with IDD is a plus
