CHLA is seeking a Medical Coder for outpatient services in a 100% remote role requiring California residency before start. The coder will apply ICD-10 and CPT rules, abstract data for outcomes and reimbursement, and mentor non-credentialed staff.
Work is Monday–Friday, day shift, with access to hospital coding guidelines and compliance programs. Qualifications include 2+ years of medical coding experience, preferably pediatric, CCS or CPC credentials, and ongoing CEUs.
