Healthcare Coding & Consulting Services (HCCS) is seeking experienced
Full-time and Part-time DRG Validators to join our growing team. This is a
fully remote opportunity for a highly skilled coding professional with extensive experience in DRG validation, inpatient auditing, and complex inpatient coding.

• Active AHIMA or AAPC coding certification required.
  • CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification is required
• CDIP and/or CCDS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent APR-DRG/DRG coding experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient auditing experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher.
• Previous DRG/APR-DRG validation experience required.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines, MS-DRG/APR-DRG assignment, reimbursement methodologies, and documentation requirements.
• Ability to identify coding opportunities, validate DRG assignment, and provide clear audit findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
