The Emergency Department Coder position at Cognizant is a remote, fast-paced role focused on accurate coding for ED encounters, outpatient surgery, observation and diagnostic encounters using facility and pro-fee codes. You’ll work with Epic and encoder tools, querying physicians to clarify documentation and maintain high accuracy and productivity in a remote team setting.
Responsibilities include coding ED procedures, injections, infusions, EKGs, and ED-levels; collaboration with clinicians;
