Paramedic

Are you an HCPC-registered Paramedic looking to step away from shift work and blue-light pressures, while still using your clinical judgement and broad emergency-care experience every day? Gaia Recruitment is recruiting experienced Paramedics into permanent, hybrid PIP assessment roles in London, working with one of the DWP's health assessment providers. You'll carry out assessments for people applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP), using your clinical judgement to produce clear, evidence-based reports on how their health conditions affect daily living and mobility.

The role is hybrid, combining home-based telephone and video assessments with face-to-face assessments at a London assessment centre. Paramedic with a live, unrestricted HCPC registration

Experience:

At least 1 year of post-registration experience Clinical breadth:
Broad clinical knowledge across physical and mental health conditions – your pre-hospital experience is a real strength here Communication:
Strong communication and listening skills, with the confidence to manage sensitive conversations IT & home working:
Good IT skills, a suitable private space to work from home, and the ability to write concise, well-reasoned reports Vetting:
