Support patient independence as a Personal Support Worker with Care Partners in Gananoque, Ontario. This permanent, full-time remote opportunity centers on compassionate home-based care.
VON Canada in Ontario is seeking Personal Support Workers for patient and family-centered care in the Gananoque area. You will assist with personal care, household tasks, respite care, medication assistance, and special functions. The position also includes safe transfers, home safety, emotional support, and meal preparation.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist patients with daily living and personal care activities
- Support household tasks, respite care, and medication assistance
- Demonstrate safe transfers, body mechanics, and home safety
- Provide cognitive, social, and emotional patient support
- Prepare nutritious meals, snacks, and special diets
- Valid Personal Support Worker certificate or accepted equivalent
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and commitment to patients
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Valid G or G2 licence, vehicle, and insurance
- Current vulnerable sector and clear background checks
