Make a Real Difference with HFH Healthcare

Are you a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant looking for a rewarding live-in role where you can build meaningful relationships and develop your care skills?

At HFH Healthcare
, we're recruiting dedicated Live-In Care Assistants to support adults and children with complex healthcare needs in their own homes across London.

We provide specialist, nurse-led care that enables people to remain in familiar surroundings while receiving the support they need to live as independently and comfortably as possible.

Unlike traditional home care,
you'll support one client during your placement rather than travelling between multiple homes
. This allows you to build trust, understand individual routines and provide genuinely personalised care.

If you're passionate about helping others, enjoy working closely with people and want to be part of a supportive care team, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you'll stay in a client's home during your agreed placement, supporting their daily routines, comfort, safety and wellbeing.

Our clients have a range of care requirements, including complex physical and clinical needs. Each placement is different, and your responsibilities will depend on the individual care plan.

Typical working patterns include 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
, although rotas may vary according to client needs and placement availability.

Live-in placements may involve approximately 11 hours of care support throughout the day
, with specific working and rest arrangements confirmed for each placement.

Your Responsibilities

Depending on the client's individual needs, you may be supporting with:

  • Personal care, dressing, hygiene and everyday routines.
  • Mobility assistance, positioning and physical comfort.
  • Meal preparation, hydration and general wellbeing.
  • Companionship, reassurance and emotional support.
  • Encouraging independence, choice and participation in daily activities.
  • Specialist care interventions where appropriately trained and assessed as competent.
  • Monitoring wellbeing and communicating changes to the wider care team.
  • Following individual care plans while maintaining dignity, privacy and safety.

Our approach is always person-centred. We want carers who take the time to understand the individual, respect their preferences and support them to live life their way.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for carers who are:

  • Compassionate, patient and genuinely passionate about helping others.
  • Reliable, professional and committed to providing high-quality care.
  • Comfortable supporting people with different physical and healthcare needs.
  • Confident communicating with clients, families and healthcare professionals.
  • Able to work independently while following individual care plans.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new skills.
  • Available for live-in placements and able to commit to agreed working patterns.

Previous care experience is desirable
, particularly experience supporting people with complex care needs.

Most importantly, we're looking for individuals who understand that excellent care is about more than completing tasks — it's about building trust, showing respect and helping someone feel safe and valued.
