Outpost Recruitment is seeking a Recruiter / Talent Sourcer who will work remotely in Canada. We place construction professionals that play key roles in the construction of Canada’s landmark buildings and infrastructure projects. Base salary ($60,000-$80,000) plus commission.

We are a boutique agency serving the Canadian construction sector for over 10 years who do recruitment differently as we believe the industry is broken. Outpost has a relationship-focused approach with clients (leading general contractors, subcontractors and consultancies) and candidates and always thinks about long-term success for both parties. We provide local and international talent to working on ICI (Institutional, Commercial & Industrial) buildings and infrastructure projects across Canada, with strong ties with 7 of the Top 10 Canadian Contractors.

Requirements of Recruiter / Talent Sourcer
  • 2+ years of sourcing / headhunting experience on construction leadership roles
  • Demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships and follow strong ethical principles.
  • Recruiter / Talent Sourcer will have 3+ years in either agency or corporate recruitment experience, or, 3+ years of general contracting construction experience. Experience in both is a strong asset.
  • Expertise in using Linked In Recruiter, jobs board and other tools to build candidate pipeline
  • B2B experience in Canada.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Recruiter / Talent Sourcer will work fully remote role but candidate will be based in Canada
Key Skills of Recruiter / Talent Sourcer
  • The Recruiter / Talent Sourcer will have proven ability on construction leadership roles so that we can service our clients’ needs better. Our agency is unique in that our candidate sourcing is primarily inbound but would like to be responsive to client requests on specific headhunts.
  • We require an independent and collaborative mindset, focused on outcomes and goals. You must be able to prioritize high volumes of work and remain calm under pressure.

Compensation:
Base salary ($60,000-$80,000) plus commission. Base salary and commission will be commensurate with level of experience. We offer 20 vacation days, flexible working hours and a $2,500 annual Health Spending Account (HSA).

We offer a flexible way of working that comes with being part of a remote team.
