Position: Senior Case Manager, Employee Accommodations and Absence Support (Hybrid and Remote Opportunity)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Manage complex and sensitive employee leave and workplace accommodation cases, including ADA, FMLA, and Workers’ Compensation
  • Lead the ADA interactive process from request to accommodation implementation
  • Provide expert guidance and training on leave policies and legal compliance to HR partners and supervisors
  • Oversee case tracking and produce detailed reports on leave activity and compliance
  • Collaborate on cross-departmental projects aimed at improving absence management systems and employee experiences
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, disability management, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with FMLA, ADA, PFML, and Workers’ Compensation laws
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases involving sensitive legal and medical issues
  • Strong consultation, training, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Proficiency with HRIS, case management systems, data analytics, and Microsoft Office applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in a unionized, higher education, or public sector environment
  • ADA Coordinator Training Certification (ACTCP) or equivalent credential
  • Experience conducting workplace assessments and developing reasonable accommodations
  • Leadership or mentoring experience within HR or disability management teams
