Fletchers Group have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing People Team.
The purpose of this role is to provide practical, legally compliant HR advice and support across the business, with a particular focus on managing employee relations cases. The role will support HR Business Partners and the Head of HR in delivering effective people solutions, advise managers on HR policies and employment law, and ensure HR processes and administration are delivered accurately and efficiently.
The HR Advisor will play a key role in maintaining consistent standards, supporting managers through people issues, and contributing to the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the HR function.
- 35 hours working week

- Manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence management, and low‑level capability cases.
- Provide clear, pragmatic and legally compliant advice to managers on employment law, HR policies, and best practice.
- Support and, where appropriate, lead formal meetings, including disciplinary and grievance hearings, ensuring fair process and accurate documentation.
- Prepare outcome letters, investigation reports, and related correspondence.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners and the Head of HR to support strategic and operational HR initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal data protection standards.
- Produce contracts of employment, variations, confirmation letters, and other HR documentation.
- Support HR processes such as onboarding, probation management, and leavers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and templates.
- Ensure all HR activity aligns with UK employment law, SRA expectations where relevant, and firm policies.
- Support audits and reporting requirements, including management information on employee relations trends.
- Keep up to date with changes in employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role, ideally within a professional services or legal environment.
