• Serve as the subject matter expert for US payroll compliance, including federal, state, and local regulations
• Lead internal payroll compliance audits to identify and resolve issues
• Support the design and implementation of automated payroll processes and controls
• Partner with various teams to ensure compliance in US payroll logic and workflows
• Monitor changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary operational adjustments

• Extensive knowledge of US payroll compliance, including federal and multi-state taxation
• Proven experience managing US payroll operations or compliance programs in a complex environment
• Strong understanding of audit processes, system controls, and regulatory reporting
• Ability to translate legislation into compliant operational processes
• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Experience with payroll system configuration or logic mapping
• Familiarity with federal and state labor law audits or investigations
• Background in payroll compliance within a technology-driven or SaaS business
