PositionSummary
The HRIS Business Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing the organization’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role serves as a liaison between HR, IT, and other business units to ensure HRIS solutions align with business needs, streamline HR processes, and maintain data integrity. The analyst will analyze system requirements, implement new modules, troubleshoot issues, and provide training to end-users.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to gather and document business requirements for HRIS enhancements and new implementations.
- Analyze current HR processes and recommend improvements using HRIS capabilities.
- Configure, test, and deploy HRIS modules and updates.
- Perform regular system audits to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and security.
- Serve as a technical resource for HRIS-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving system errors or user queries.
- Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation for HRIS applications.
- Generate and analyze HR reports to support decision-making and compliance requirements.
- Work with vendors and third-party providers to coordinate system upgrades, integrations, and support.
- Stay current with HRIS trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting HR technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP Success Factors, Oracle HCM, ADP, D365).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with HR processes such as payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

This role is typically based in an office environment with standard working hours. Occasional overtime may be required during system implementations or upgrades. Remote work options may be available depending on location. Travel 25% may be required.
Reporting StructureThe HRIS Business Analyst reports to the IT Manager and works closely with HR staff, IT specialists, and external vendors.
