The Leadership Development Program Designer & Facilitator is responsible for designing and facilitating leadership development experiences—both in person and virtual—that strengthen our company culture and build leadership capability across the enterprise. This role creates high‑impact learning programs that equip leaders in retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices with the skills, behaviors, and mindset required for success.

Program Design & Development
  • Design comprehensive leadership development programs with flexible in‑person, virtual, and blended delivery options.
  • Build learning journeys tailored to emerging leaders, mid‑level people leaders, high‑potential talent, and senior leaders.
  • Partner to ensure curriculum, modules, facilitator guides, and participant materials are optimized for classroom and virtual environments.
  • Incorporate real‑world scenarios from retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate teams to ensure relevance across all formats.
  • Create culture‑values leadership learning experiences for multiple leader segments, including frontline and emerging leaders, mid‑level people leaders and managers, high‑potential and accelerated development cohorts, and senior leaders and executives.
  • Ensure leadership programs honor operational realities while reinforcing consistent leadership behaviors and culture standards.
Facilitation & Delivery
  • Facilitate highly engaging leadership workshops, cohort sessions, and experiential learning—both onsite and through virtual platforms.
  • Use dynamic facilitation techniques (polling, breakout groups, collaborative tools) to keep virtual learners energized and connected.
  • Model people‑first leadership behaviors during every session, regardless of delivery mode.
  • Create a learning environment where leaders can ask questions, practice skills, and learn from one another.
Leader‑Led and Hybrid Learning Enablement
  • Prepare leaders to deliver in‑person and virtual content through facilitator toolkits, coaching, and readiness sessions.
  • Support “leaders teaching leaders” models by ensuring materials are intuitive, flexible, and easy to facilitate in any environment.
High‑Potential & Talent Pipeline Development
  • Design and facilitate components of high‑potential and leadership readiness programs delivered in person, virtually, or through hybrid cohorts.
  • Align program experiences with talent pipeline and succession priorities.
Needs Assessment & Collaboration
  • Partner with HR, business leaders, and operational partners to understand leadership development needs across in‑person and remote work settings.
  • Adapt content based on leader feedback, operational realities, and enterprise priorities.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through surveys, participation data, facilitator insights, and virtual engagement analytics.
  • Use insights to improve program content, facilitation methods, and learner experience across delivery formats.
  • Stay current on trends in virtual learning, experiential design, and hybrid leadership development.
Working Environment
  • Designs and facilitates leadership programs across in‑person, virtual, and blended environments.
  • Supports leaders in retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices.
  • Some travel required for on‑site facilitation and program launches.

Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business, HR, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and facilitating leadership development programs.
  • Proven ability to deliver in‑person and virtual leadership experiences to diverse audiences.
  • Strong program design capabilities for classroom and digital learning.
  • Experience supporting multi‑location, operational, or hybrid work environments.
Preferred
  • Master’s degree in L&D, OD, or related field.
  • Experience designing high‑potential or cohort‑based leadership programs.
