The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, operates with a solution‑first mindset, and doesn’t wait to be told what to do, you dig in, figure it out, and drive things forward. You’ll bring strong employee relations expertise, comfort managing complexity, and a proven ability to navigate ambiguity in support of a rapidly scaling business.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders in our Technology organization and corporate functions, aligning HR strategies with business priorities (potentially other internal clients as assigned).
  • Partner with leaders to assess organizational health, drive team effectiveness, and support change initiatives;
Coach managers on topics including performance, development, and team dynamics.
  • Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects with minimal oversight (e.g., org design, onboarding improvements, performance processes).
  • Support employee engagement efforts through surveys, feedback loops, and organizational listening, and action planning.
  • Champion a consistent and inclusive employee experience in partnership with leadership and cross‑functional teams, surfacing insights and helping scale what works.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support workforce planning and hiring efforts, ensuring alignment on role design, leveling, compensation, and an inclusive interview process.
  • Lead employee relations cases (investigations, accommodations, PIPs) with empathy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Partner with Talent, L&D, and Operations teams to deliver cohesive people experiences across the employee lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify people‑related risks, patterns, and opportunities for intervention
  • Be an escalation point for complex or sensitive employee relations matters requiring senior‑level HRBP support.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to operationalize new programs or policies.
  • Use data to inform decisions and provide insights that drive action.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
What You’ll Bring
  • 6 - 8+ years of progressive HRBP experience, with at least 2 years supporting a Technology org. (Engineering, Product, etc.)
  • Experience in high‑growth, fast‑paced, startup or scale‑up environments.
  • Strong track record leading complex employee relations issues independently.
  • Comfort managing projects and change with limited structure or oversight.
  • A resourceful mindset, you know how to find the answer, build relationships, and move things forward.
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and influencing skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to balance hands‑on execution with strategic thinking.
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams preferred.
Nice to Have's
  • Experience with tools like UKG, Lattice, or other modern HR platforms.
  • Prior exposure to organizational design, M&A integration, or scaling HR infrastructure.
Work Environment
  • Remote - Work from anywhere within the United States with reliable high‑speed internet, but our preference is to be based within a commutable distance of our Dallas, TX office for occasional in‑person meetings.
Perks & Benefits
  • Multiple medical plan options.
  • Health Savings Account with company contributions.
