AboutThe Role
The HR Generalist will assist the VP, Human Resources with managing day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, compliance, training, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, record management, leave, and policy administration. This position reports directly to the VP, Human Resources.
Full‑time. Candidates must be located in the Greater Orlando area. While primarily remote, candidates are expected to meet in‑person with the HR team as needed and may travel or work hybrid in the future.
About You- You bring 3+ years of hands‑on HR experience and thrive in environments where you flex across recruiting, onboarding, compliance, employee engagement, and day‑to‑day HR operations.
- You are detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive, managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and follow‑through.
- Resourceful problem‑solver who communicates clearly, builds trust across teams, and supports employees and managers with empathy, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- Enthusiastic about supporting employees through the full lifecycle, with a service and systems mindset focused on individual experience and scalable processes.
- Assist with administering and executing HR programs for the entire employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, benefits, leave, performance and talent management, wellness, occupational health, and training.
- Develop and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support compliance needs.
- Lead onboarding experiences, coordinate pre‑boarding activities, facilitate orientations, and ensure smooth transitions.
- Support employee engagement through remote, hybrid, and in‑person activities.
- Handle administrative tasks for pre‑boarding, onboarding, orientations, and exit interviews; maintain accurate data in HRIS.
- Respond to employment inquiries, refer complex matters to the VP, Human Resources.
- Track employment‑related items using HRIS and personnel records.
- Support recruiting activities by screening candidates and executing best practices.
- Design and implement compliance tracking for international operations.
- Assist the VP, Human Resources with change management, program development, and employee engagement strategies.
- Maintain compliance with UK law, US federal, state, and local laws, and recommended best practices.
- Stay current on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.

What You'll BringMinimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
- At least 3 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a small to mid‑size growth‑oriented business.
- Experience across recruitment, compliance, training, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, record, leave, and policy administration.
- SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP (or equivalent) highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Excellent record‑keeping and documentation skills.
- Execution of broad HR responsibilities with quality, creativity, and follow‑through.
- Proficiency with or quick learning of HRIS and talent management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
