Position Summary

The Senior Physician Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing top-tier physicians and advanced practice providers across Health Source’s multispecialty divisions, including Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, and Hospitalist services
. This role manages a full recruitment desk — handling candidate sourcing, client/provider relations, and the hiring process from start to finish.

This is a high-impact role for an experienced healthcare recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and has a proven ability to attract and engage highly skilled medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a full recruitment desk
    , including sourcing, outreach, and placement of physicians and advanced practice providers across all Health Source divisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, physicians, and internal division leaders to understand staffing needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct candidate outreach via emails, phone calls, text messages, and maintain all activity notes within Recruiter Flow
    , the company’s source of record.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for Health Source divisions.
  • Facilitate the offer and onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for new providers.
  • Provide market insights and recruitment strategy recommendations to division leadership.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, credentialing standards, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in physician or healthcare recruiting, with experience in permanent placement and PRN roles preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage a full recruitment desk (candidate sourcing + business relationship management).
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, physician credentialing, and compensation structures.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using Recruiter Flow or similar applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet performance goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
