Payroll Supervisor - IN - Onsite at Vensure Employer Solutions
. This role is on-site and part of a Payroll POD, providing day-to-day operational leadership to ensure client payrolls are processed accurately and on time.
Note: We are a proud work-from-office company seeking candidates willing to work on-site in a dynamic, global environment.
Responsibilities- Ensure payroll is processed timely and accurately.
- Act as the primary contact for assigned POD clients.
- Review processed payrolls, resolve payroll errors and issues, and assist the team where needed.
- Monitor the work of a team of Payroll Associates who input payroll data and prepare payroll checks.
- Maintain clear and consistent client communications.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control Team to process current-year and prior-year voids and resolve posted payroll errors.
- Address payroll-related queries and requests.
- Analyze payroll problems and provide appropriate resolutions.
- Facilitate frequent communication with VMC Payroll Supervisors to review Payroll Associates’ performance, recommend training needs, and assist with coaching.
- Schedule and facilitate weekly POD team huddles.
- Review and recommend improvements to existing Payroll department procedures; work with Payroll Manager to implement changes, provide feedback on team performance, and escalate client issues.
- Assist in payroll calculations and deductions.
- Self-motivated, professional, capable of working with minimal supervision, and accountable.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet concrete deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize and switch between projects quickly.
- Effective communication with internal departments and ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
- Proficient to strong MS Office skills, including Excel and Outlook.
- Proven judgment in handling situations and problems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of payroll experience
- PEO, ASO, multi-state payroll experience
- Knowledge of Prism HR (recommended but not required)
