This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a People Operations Generalist in Brazil.
In this hands-on, high-impact role, you will own and execute core HR and people operations functions for a fully distributed team across Latin America. You will manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, while ensuring compliance with local labor regulations and internal policies. Partnering closely with leadership, Finance, and external vendors, you will streamline HR processes, maintain accurate records, and deliver a seamless employee experience.
This role also involves supporting recruiting efforts, administering benefits, and coordinating systems and IT access. You will thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative, and remote-friendly environment, helping to build scalable people infrastructure and strengthen organizational culture.
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, performance reviews, job changes, leaves, and terminations.
- Administer benefits programs, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Serve as first point of contact for employee HR questions, concerns, and escalations, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR system workflows while partnering with Finance on payroll, audits, and compensation reviews.
- Support recruiting operations including interview scheduling and candidate pipeline coordination.
- Ensure HR compliance with local labor laws and multi-state regulations, including registrations, filings, and background checks.
- Coordinate IT access, system provisioning, and vendor relationships while standardizing internal processes and documentation.
- Manage employee programs, perks, and recognition initiatives to enhance engagement and experience.
- 4–7+ years of experience in people operations, HR generalist, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of local employment compliance, labor laws, and HR systems.
- Experience supporting fully remote, distributed teams in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
- Excellent operational rigor, attention to detail, and ability to manage sensitive information.
- Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, ATS, and IT administration tools (e.g., Gusto, Deel, Lever).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees and leadership effectively.
