Role SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manager of Human Resources to join our team.
The Manager of Human Resources is responsible for crafting and implementing an organizational talent strategy to enable team building culture and strategic goals; leading and continuously developing an internal-focused HR team; and serving as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team.
Reporting StructureThis role will report to the Chief Operating Officer while working closely with the other members of the Executive Team.
Critical Accountabilities- Develops executes monitors and evaluates the organizational talent strategy and compensation program
- Builds leads and develops the Human Resources function
- Negotiates Employment and Consulting Agreements
- Champions the desired organizational culture with a focus on employee experience
- Acts as trusted advisor to the senior leadership team
- Provides analysis support and recommendations to the senior leadership team on talent-related issues
- Manages talent-related compliance and risk issues
- Develops and monitors resources and budgets
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in HR Industrial/Organizational Psychology Organizational Development Adult Education Business or related field
- 10 years of progressive HR experience in the US with multiple state exposure
- 3 years of experience interacting with executive teams and/or boards of directors
- 3 years of experience in complex change and/or program management
- Proficiency with HR information systems and the Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification (e.g. SHRP CHRE)
- Masters degree (or equivalent) in HR Business Organizational Development or related field
- 3 years of people management experience
Note:
This role is in a primarily virtual team environment and the role holder will need to have open availability. Evening and Weekend availability may be required from time to time.
