Employment Solicitor - Fully Remote

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

We’re supporting a reputable law firm who are looking to welcome an Employment Solicitor to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on high-quality matters., with the full freedom and flexibility of working from home. You will provide expert employment advice to employees, employers, executives, SMEs, and trade unions on a wide range of issues.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

Strong organisational skills and the ability provide expert advice on a number of matters
Ability to manage own caseload
5 years + PQE
Open to various levels including Associates, Senior Associates, Directors, and Partners
Experience in contentious or mixed contentious/non-contentious employment work
Happy to work with a mixed caseload of both claimant and respondent
Confident, motivated solicitors who enjoy autonomy and challenging matters
UK-based, able to work fully remotely
Within this position, you’ll also be:

Assisting clients delivering a professional service on a wide range of issues including but not limited to:

Settlement agreements
Redundancy and restructures
Unfair dismissal
Discrimination
Disciplinary procedures and grievances

Handling cases that may progress to Employment Tribunals
Salary and Hours of Work

Monday to Friday – hours to suit the employee
£65k FTE base plus uncapped OTE
Must be able to commit to 15 – 25 hours per week
