Recruitment Consultant

Salary: Up to £26,000. 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Hybrid role based at our Head Office in Lupton with 1 day a week working from home.

• Overseeing and managing recruitment campaigns from attraction and advertising through to offer and on‑boarding.
• Directly sourcing and headhunting talent using a range of tools such as Linked In Recruiter.
• Building and nurturing talent pipelines in line with our growth demands.
• Encouraging employee referrals and recruiting like‑minded people who want to make a difference to our children.
• Championing the WG candidate experience, ensuring it reflects the way we look after our people as a great place to work.
• Engaging with our Alumni talent community, supporting people back into roles within our group.
• Ensuring recruiting managers are appropriately supported and that they attract, select and appoint the right candidates whilst being compliant with relevant procedures and legislation (including Safer Recruitment) vital to safeguarding our children.
• Promoting our employer brand and social media presence.

• Passion for the education and care of children and young people with SEN.
• At least 6 months experience as a Recruiter (in‑house, agency or similar).
• Hands‑on experience with attraction and sourcing techniques, with full training provided.
• Comfortable with data and talent systems such as Linked In and applicant tracking systems.
• A people person who cares, is empathetic and can translate Witherslack Group’s ambition to provide aspirational futures.
• Strong relationship building and networking skills.
• Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
• Ability to relate to a range of different audiences.
