Purpose

of the Role

The Global Mobility Specialist will play a key role in supporting DNV’s Global Mobility Program and its stakeholders and ensuring compliance across international assignment processes. This position has a stronger focus on International Assignment (IA) Management, with Vendor Management acting as a secondary – yet still important – responsibility.

  • International Assignment Management – delivering end-to-end support for employees on international assignments and stakeholders involved, ensuring policy compliance and a positive employee experience.
  • Vendor Management – overseeing external service providers (tax, immigration, relocation) to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities International Assignment Management
  • Coordinate the full lifecycle of international assignments (pre-assignment, on-assignment, repatriation).
  • Advise employees and managers on global mobility policies, tax, immigration, and relocation matters.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and local/global regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless assignment processes.
Vendor Management
  • Manage relationships with external vendors (tax advisors, relocation providers, immigration consultants).
  • Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs; upscale issues as needed.
  • Support procurement processes, including contract reviews and renewals.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives in vendor services.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in projects related to global mobility and vendor management, including:
    • Onboarding new vendors and service providers.
    • Supporting tenders and contract negotiations.
  • Contributing to process improvements and system enhancements for International Assignments.
  • Actively engage in cross-functional initiatives to improve compliance, efficiency, and employee experience.

Education
:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience
:

  • Minimum 3 years in Global Mobility, International HR, or Vendor Management.
  • Experience with international assignments and vendor coordination is highly desirable.

Skills
:

  • Strong knowledge of global mobility policies, tax, and immigration basics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.

Language
:
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
