We are looking for motivated, customer focused Resourcing Assistants to join our busy Resourcing Service. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful recruitment programmes across the council, supporting essential services and playing a key part in bringing talent into BCC.
AboutThe Role
- Provide professional, customer focused resourcing support to Resourcing Partners and recruiting managers.
- Support end‑to‑end resourcing activity including shortlisting, interview scheduling, onboarding and compliance.
- Ensure accuracy in pre‑employment checks and Oracle records to mitigate risk.
- Deliver timely and accurate information within defined service standards.
- Support early careers and workforce planning across the council.
- Work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and excellent customer service is key.

About You- Experience working in a resourcing or recruitment environment.
- Ability to work in a busy service and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Confident use of IT systems, including Microsoft Office and MS Teams.
- Experience using HR or payroll systems (desirable).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to guide and advise colleagues.
