Overview

Hard Hat Recruitment is hiring an experienced white collar construction recruiter to take ownership of a 360 desk within our construction division.

This is an opportunity for a recruiter who understands the sector and wants the platform to operate as if they were building their own business, without the financial risk, overheads, or infrastructure concerns that normally come with it. The systems, brand, client base, and operational support are already in place. What is required is someone who can use that foundation to generate revenue, build relationships, and grow their desk.

You will have full autonomy, clear earning potential, and a genuine route to leadership and directorship for someone who demonstrates the right level of performance and intent.

What you will be doing

* Running a full 360 white collar construction recruitment desk

* Generating new business and building long-term client relationships

* Managing the full recruitment process from initial brief through to placement

* Sourcing and placing candidates across roles such as Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, Project Managers, Site Managers, Design Managers, Commercial Managers and related positions

* Managing your own pipeline, time, and targets

* Supporting the growth of the division and positioning yourself to lead future hires

You will also have access to an existing stream of live roles from established clients, including main contractors, Tier 1 contractors, and smaller reliable businesses. This ensures there is a consistent workflow alongside your own business development.

Commission Structure

* £30,000 basic salary

* No ceiling on earnings

* Bonuses and incentives are tailored to you. Not everyone is motivated by a holiday or a boozy lunch! We want to award the individual not the preset standard

For clarity on billing ownership:

* Roles resourced from existing company clients are credited at 50% of the billing value

* Roles where you generate the client and resource the placement are credited at 100%

* Roles where you generate the client and receive resourcing support are credited at 50%

This structure ensures fairness while also strongly rewarding business generation.

Hard Hat Recruitment has planned hires for end of Q2 and end of Q3 as part of its growth. The individual who takes this role will be positioned to step into a leadership position as the team expands.

This is effectively the opportunity to build your own recruitment business within an established one, with full infrastructure and client access already in place.
