Remote HR Assistant: Onboarding & Records

About the Role

Vita CV is recruiting on behalf of a professional services firm with offices in Birmingham city centre.

This is a permanent, entry‑level HR seat. The HR team supports a 180‑person operation across two UK sites. This role reports to an HR Coordinator and sits alongside one other administrator, with day‑to‑day responsibility for new‑starter onboarding, employee record maintenance, and first‑line query response.

• Employee record maintenance

• Comfort with Microsoft Office at a daily‑use level (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
• Discretion in handling confidential personal data
• Right to work in the UK

• Any prior exposure to HRIS systems (the firm uses Bamboo
  
  HR, training given on the specific instance)
• CIPD Level 3 or working toward (funded by the client from start if not held)
• Right‑to‑work or onboarding administration experience

£12.82 to £14.62 per hour (£25,000 to £28,500 annualised at 37.5 hours) depending on experience.

• Fully remote within the UK after a two‑week onsite induction in Birmingham
• Full home‑working kit provided
• Funded CIPD Level 3 from start if not already held. Funded Level 5 from year two for the right candidate
• Defined route to HR Coordinator within eighteen months for the right candidate, documented in the firm's progression framework
