Overview

Are you looking to start a rewarding career in recruitment but don’t have direct experience? Our Associate Education Consultant programme is a 6-to-12-month training programme designed to give ambitious individuals the skills, knowledge, and confidence to break into the industry – no prior experience required. We currently have training opportunities in all of our offices across England.

About You

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are looking to pursue a career in recruitment and wants to join a company that celebrates success and supports you on your journey to get there. The Associate Education Consultant training programme is designed to cover all aspects of the 360-recruitment cycle. All we ask is you have the drive to succeed with a great work ethic.

We’ll help you with everything else so by the end of the programme you’ll be a fully equipped Education Consultant, ready to manage your own portfolio of candidates and clients.

Role Responsibilities
  • Resourcing teachers and teaching assistants for job roles
  • Searching job sites for CVs and attending career fairs
  • Utilising the company database to recruit candidates
  • Writing job adverts to attract candidates
  • Interviewing candidates in person, online and off-site on registration days
  • Liaising with the Education Consultants to ensure these candidates are placed out to work
  • Writing candidate profiles
Next steps in training

Once you are confident to move to the next stage you will then begin your client training. This will consist of:

  • Visiting schools with colleagues
  • Positive marketing of candidates
  • Client business development and lead generation
  • Developing new client relationships and account managing existing ones

Our Associate Education Consultant training programme is adapted to suit individual needs. You must be presentable, proficient on IT platforms and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. As this is a sales role, previous sales experience is preferable but anyone who can demonstrate impeccable customer service with a strong work ethic will be considered. Whilst knowledge of special needs and/or education is an advantage, it’s not essential as full sector training will be provided.

  • Salary starting from £26.5k, depending upon experience

  • Full time permanent role, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (shift patterns between 7am and 6pm)
