Job Description & How to Apply Below

Elevation HR are proud to be supporting the recruitment of a HR Advisor for a manufacturing business based in Doncaster on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a brand-new role created due to growth, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on generalist role with a strong Employee Relations focus.

You’ll join an established HR team within a large multi-site manufacturing business, supporting managers, and helping to build capability across the organisation. This is a fully site-based role with bi-weekly travel between sites with occasional working from home when supporting on projects.

Key Responsibilities as a HR Advisor will include:
  • Partnering with managers to provide practical guidance on people management and employee relations issues.
  • Delivering consistent, commercially focused HR advice in line with company policy and employment legislation.
  • Supporting absence management processes, including Occupational Health referrals and return-to-work planning.
  • Analysing HR data and trends to provide insights and support informed decision-making.
  • Contributing to HR projects, process improvements and the consistent application of HR policies across the business.
  • Managing a busy Employee Relations caseload covering absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
  • Conducting investigations and providing support through formal HR processes and hearings.
Benefits as a HR Advisor include:
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Flexible start/finish times
  • Pension matched up to 8%
  • Enhanced family leave
  • Cycle to work scheme
What we’re looking for:
  • Strong HR generalist experience with solid ER exposure
  • Confident managing a busy, high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Full UK driving licence required due to travel between sites
The Opportunity

This is a busy, hands-on HR role where no two days are the same. You’ll be joining an experienced HR team in a role that offers strong ER exposure, autonomy, and the opportunity to genuinely influence how managers are supported and developed.

If you’re looking for a broad generalist HR role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you can bring fresh ideas and make an impact, this is an excellent opportunity.
