Hours: Full Time – 37 Hours per week

Flexi Time Scheme: accrue up to 13 extra days off a year (pro-rata) on top of your annual leave.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our People Services section for a People Administrator in the Recruitment & Selection team, based in Headquarters. Our People function is at the heart of an exciting period of transformation, playing a vital role in driving the growth and success of the service. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us during a pivotal time, as we deliver a range of ambitious culture initiatives aligned to our vision and values.

In this role, you will support the People Officer (Recruitment & Selection) in delivering a high-quality, efficient and customer-focused recruitment service to colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation.

About you
  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • Have a good understanding of people processes, particularly within recruitment and selection
  • Bring proven experience of working with administrative procedures and systems to deliver a high-quality, transactional HR service
  • Thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment, working collaboratively as part of a small team
  • Demonstrate flexibility, organisation and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines and team objectives.
Key duties and responsibilities
  • Deliver a wide range of recruitment and selection administration activities across internal and external processes e.g. undertaking right to work checks for all new employees, ensuring compliance with SYFR policy and legislation
  • Liaising with candidates, hiring managers and people function colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient recruitment processes
  • Responding to recruitment-related queries, providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times
  • Completing administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, in line with deadlines, KPIs and People policies.
