This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an HR Specialist based in United Kingdom.
As an HR Specialist, you will play a central role in delivering an outstanding employee experience while supporting the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding. Working in a fully remote, fast‑paced environment, you will help ensure HR operations run efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with employment regulations. This role combines HR administration, employee support, HRIS management, and workforce reporting, offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with managers and leadership across the organization.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and general employment‑related inquiries.
- Coordinate the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, orientation, off‑boarding, exit interviews, and employment documentation.
- Administer and maintain the HRIS, ensuring employee records, workflows, permissions, and organisational data remain accurate and up to date.
- Support managers with employee documentation, policy interpretation, and day‑to‑day HR guidance.
- Monitor HR processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and system performance.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support informed business decisions.
- Develop executive‑ready presentations summarizing key HR metrics, trends, and organisational insights.
- Maintain personnel files and HR documentation while supporting compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to promote a positive, compliant, and employee‑centred workplace culture.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information and HR matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2–5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience administering HRIS platforms; familiarity with Paylocity is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance practices; multi‑state workforce experience is an advantage.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Outstanding organisational abilities with strong attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and customer service skills with a collaborative approach.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgement in sensitive situations.
- Professional HR certifications (such as SHRM‑CP or PHR), experience in high‑growth or technology environments, workforce analytics expertise, or familiarity with fintech and cryptocurrency are considered valuable assets.
